ARTernatywa Foundation

ARTernatywa Foundation is a combination of art (art) and alternative. We are engaged in informal education, which is based on the assumptions of artistic humanities. This is an alternative to traditional forms of teaching - through practice and experience, it leads to understanding. What matters to us is the possibility of live participation. An important element of these activities is the combination of various disciplines (art history, philosophy, sociology, music and foreign languages), which allows for a multifaceted message and a diversity of activities.The organization was founded in 2020, it is formed by three Lodz residents.

Light Move Festival

The idea of creating a "Kinetic Art of Light" Light.Move.Festival. in Lodz was born at the turn of 2009 and 2010. Its originators are Beata Konieczniak and Norbert Wasserfurth - Grzybowski. Enchanted by the post-industrial but also eclectic architecture of Lodz, they decided to introduce to the calendar of cultural events an event during which the beauty and unprecedented character of Lodz's buildings is highlighted. They chose the medium of light and the possibilities it brings as a tool for this purpose.

Municipal Gallery of Art in Lodz

MGS - was established by the Magistrate of the City of Lodz in 1924.It broadly presents Polish and foreign contemporary art in all techniques and media. Painting, graphics, drawing, sculpture, photography, artistic textiles, design, film, multimedia, performance, installations. It conducts educational and publishing activities

MeMo Mediatheque

This is a place that combines traditional library collections with access to modern technology. It's a space where everyone, regardless of age, can find something for themselves.

Urban Cultural Zone

It began operations on November 1, 2021. It consists of as many as 15 branches, creating a well-functioning cultural and artistic institution. It wishes to integrate, inspire and activate all residents of Lodz.

Love Studio

Created for the love of tattoos, people, colors and originality. It is a place that goes out of tattoo patterns, a place for everyone. It is located in the attic of one of Lodz's tenement houses.

Fleece

To put it very briefly, we screen films in the open air at various points in Lodz throughout the vacations. Every year we are visited by more than 50,000 viewers.

Radio Capital

A community-based, Internet radio station that broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is a modern platform for social and artistic dialogue, presenting original broadcasts on culture, society, history, literature, art and music in a wide variety of genres.

Student Radio Zak of the Technical University of Lodz.

It is one of the oldest academic radio stations in Poland. It can be listened to on 88.8 MHz in and around Lodz, and via the Internet all over the world. Żak is the only radio station in Poland fully managed by the students themselves, who do not receive any remuneration for their work, as the radio's operations are based on voluntary work. The radio boasts original programs on cultural, social, musical, sports and journalistic topics.
